A Serene & Intimate Retreat
Commissioned by Ahmed Chahroudi in the 1950s, this smaller-scale masterpiece showcases Wright’s ability to create extraordinary spaces within modest footprints. While originally conceived as a guest house to a larger, unrealized project at the time, the Chahroudi House is a complete and captivating work of art in its own right. Its design harmoniously blends with the island’s natural beauty, creating a serene and intimate retreat.
Location
The Chahroudi House is located on the heart-shaped Petra Island in Lake Mahopac, New York
