Fountainhead also known as the J. Willis Hughes House, is a distinctive Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Usonian home nestled in Jackson, Mississippi. Commissioned in 1948 by oil speculator J. Willis Hughes, the house was constructed between 1950 and 1954. It stands as a remarkable example of Wright’s organic architecture, characterized by its passive solar hemicycle design and a unique parallelogram-based grid that dictates its angled walls and flowing spaces.
